Welcome to Elvie's — a Mississippi French restaurant tucked into the historic Belhaven neighborhood of Jackson, Mississippi.

Inspired by the all-day cafes of Paris and the kitchens of New Orleans, we serve seasonal breakfast, lunch, and dinner sourced from Southern farmers, Gulf fishermen, and oyster harvesters. Founded by Cody McCain and James Beard Award finalist Chef Hunter Evans and named after his grandmother, May Elvaretta Good, Elvie's has been recognized as a MICHELIN Bib Gourmand restaurant and featured on The New York Times Restaurant List of the Top 50 places in America. We've also been honored as a James Beard Foundation Finalist for Best Chef South. Whether you're stopping in for coffee and a french omelette in the morning, meeting a friend for a classic cocktail in the afternoon, or settling in for a special dinner, our hope is that every guest feels at home. Reserve a table on Resy or call us at (601) 863-8828.
