We're proud to be able to support so many different types of farms here in Mississippi, and across the South. We believe that there is a rich history of growing amazing ingredients in the South, and we want to highlight them and tell their story! Below are some of our favorite farmers and producers, but there are many more that we'd love to tell you about as well!

Two Dog Farms

Flora, MS

Two Dog Farms is a small family farm using sustainable and natural growing methods to produce some of the best produce we have had! Van and Dorothy along with their children run their 20 acre farm in Flora, MS, just 20 miles from our restaurant. In addition to produce, Two Dog Farms has hundreds of chickens, and supplies Elvie’s with delicious fresh farm eggs. You can even join their seasonal CSA’s for local produce in your own kitchen!

French Hermit Oyster Co.

Biloxi, MS

The French Hermit Oyster Company grows delicious Gulf Coast oysters off the coast of Mississippi, in the rich waters surrounding Deer Island. Their oysters are named after Jean Guilhot, a Frenchman well known to Biloxi residents and tourists as “the hermit of Deer Island." French Hermit Oysters are the Eastern oyster, raised in floating cages in the Mississippi sound. The oysters have an elegant deep cupped bottom shell with a flavor of sweet butter and a crisp marriage of garden and sea with a delicate cucumber finish. We love them so much and are dedicated to serving these delicious oysters and supporting Mississippi farmers in the process.

Homeplace Pastures

Como, MS

Beautiful green pastures full of happy cows, pigs, and lambs makes this farm one of Chef Evans’s favorite to visit. Home Place Pastures believes that farming should enhance the land. They farm for the well-being of the animals, the health of the pastures, and to support the surrounding community.

Cathead Distillery

Jackson, MS

Mississippi outlawed alcohol in 1907 and, in 1966, became the last state to repeal prohibition. Fast forward 104 years and two fine gents, Austin Evans and Richard Patrick, fired up the state’s first legal still. As the first and oldest distillery in Mississippi we are proud to support and serve their spirits. With Phillip Ladner behind the still, Cathead makes top shelf Vodka, Bourbon, Gin, and a chicory liqueur you don’t want to miss.
